That's very kind of you Robert, but it's probable that they wouldn't arrive, as Royal Mail don't allow solvent-based paints to be sent, unless from a dealer, who has the required 'clearance'. Also, the MM Medium Gray is a different shade to the (RAF) Medium Sea Grey.
Not a problem though, as I'll mix some, using the MM paint as a match. The shade I've accidentally used is reasonably close, and just needs a small drop or two of black, and a smidgin of blue.
Thanks for the kind offer, it's much appreciated.

Yep, and it's just occurred to me that mossies (the little insect type) have been a pest for the best part of my life, giving me Malaria which, 25 years later, lead to the bloody awful Rheumatoid Arthritis I now have !
It's an omen I tell you, a bloody omen !!

As I was a little concerned that I didn't have quite enough 'Model Master' Medium Sea Grey to cover the entire model, I mixed some, using the Humbrol No. 64 Light Aircraft Grey, with a few spots of No. 157 Azure Blue (which is really PRU Blue), and matched this to the MM paint.
The final mix is just a midge's darker, but I decided not to mess with it by adding more grey, and sprayed it in a thin coat overall.
Happily, when compared to the Mosquito NF.XII, which was painted with the MM shade, it matches quite well, and I'm pleased with the result.
All being well, I'll get the Dark Green done this afternoon or this evening and, with a bit of luck, get the gloss clear coat done over the weekend.
Meanwhile, whilst the paint was drying on the FB.VI, I sprayed the first coat of clear matt onto the NF.XII. It's dried almost matt, and another coat will hopefully tone it down a bit, and again, I hope to get this done later today.
Given that all goes to plan, I hope to have both models finished by the extended deadline, and maybe even that troublesome PR.IX Mossie !
The pics show the 'test card' for the paints, with the 'spots' around the MM paint patch being tests of the mixed MSG, and a couple of shots of the model in its new coat.
Back soon .............

Thanks Kirby.
Just about to mark out the camouflage pattern in pencil, then have a bit of a snooze before spraying the Dark Green - been up most of the night, due to pain, so need a bit of rest.

Should be. Just need time for the inflammation to subside - bl**dy Rheumatoid Arthritis often 'flares up' at this time of year, especially living in this damp old town.
It's probably the only place in the UK where the BBC Weather Forecast is consistently wrong !!

They've got it covered in Ireland. 'Cloudy conditions with patches of sunshine, with a cold wind and intermittent showers'.
Just add 'snow' and you've covered almost every weather condition possible.

I think the Met Office needs a new piece of sea weed - oh, and windows.
If they looked out of a window now and then, they might see what the bl**dy weather is like !!!
