Nicely done. I like the camo scheme, never seen it before. Is that the -5 or -6? And didn't realize that the blisters were removed. Any insight?

@Bustedwing: kit is Academy and its great, no major problem with assembly. I also now that the Revell kit is superb but I am in 72scale 80% :|
I have photo of this aircraft in 1941(from book) and it was a version PBY-4.

Sory i dont have interior photos, there is not much detail in cockpit i had to scratchbuild some detail (using styrene sheet) and photo etch seatbelts from airwaves.

This is my model of famous P-51D, Cap. Charles E. Yeager "Glamorous Glen" in 1/72 scale. Model is Tamiya edition 8th. A.F. boxing, and i use AlcladII colors for natural metal work.
