Yep, well done. And I too await the broken glass technique. I have done this by accident, but not all clear plastic splinters in a scale fashion. I've accomplished this before by putting the clear part on a metal vise (or similar metal surface) and hitting a sharp punch softly. But it doesn't always work.

For the effect of broken glass I just used a new scalpel and scribed pattern of destruction, I then painted with matt varnish in the middle (in this case Tamiya matt base mix heavy matt with my airbrush). I'm glad you like it
