We decided to go up a logging road north of town. About 3km out we see a sign that says there is a gate across the road at 41km, cutting out journey short by 53kms so we hits some side roads. One road had a trail into a slough

Love to see them when they get big and white like that, but it usually means big storms and sometines bad later in the day.

BBC News in the UK has announced that smoke from the Canadian fires has now reached some western and SW areas of the UK !

The fire north of me is now as large as Prince Edward Island. They're are hoping the winter snows put it out
