I went through Adler's picks and made my own assesments

I don't know, I have a pretty good record so far this season at picking the games.

The reason I pick the Titans over the Colts (even though they are imploding as you say) is because it is a perfect game for the Colts to lose. The Colts will not go undefeated, they will love at least 4 games this year. They always have had problems with the Titans. The Titans are looking for a moral victory and the Colts are just bound to lose a game soon.

31-7 is not close. That is a beating...

You're right that is still a blowout, but with the Rams being so bad and the Vikes supposing to be so good they should manhandle them, but I have a sneaky suspicion, call it years of following the Vikings and seeing it happen over and over again, that it will be a very close game.

Well, well, well...

Michael Crabtree finally signed a 6 year deal with the 49ers today.

I have mixed feelings about this. I'm afraid of him being another prima donna more interested in his own gain than being a team player, and bringing down the team. But Singletary might be the one coach who will keep this kid inline! Hope he is worth all the trouble!

New England Patriots 27-13 Denver Broncos Uhhh I'll take the Broncos until Brady learns to throw again.

Huh? He went 21 for 32 and averaged 8 yds per pass on Sunday.

even in the blow out season of 2007 that's what he averaged. In the 51-7 game against Washington he went 29-38 and only averaged 8yds a throw. Against the Jets (20-10) he went 14-27 with av. 8yds per throw--- with McDaniels coaching him.

Orton- just about the same per game stats as Brady this season- although that's a high for him. Last year he started the same with the Bears, but then kinda nose dived around week 10/11/12- around their bye week. That's not enough for me to give him the nod against the Pats.

The Denver press is billing this match up like it's the Super Bowl. McDaniels going up against Belichick who he spent 8 yrs coaching with in NE... Brady's QB coach....coached Cassel as the back up then as the starter....the Pats offense coordinator for a few yrs..... They're filling Denver fans with visions of the student surpassing the teacher... one radio station even did a conference call with Brady to ask him how he felt about going up against McDaniels.....

Brady is back. Welker is back. Their timing is back. Even Moss will get more yards this Sunday. (the Broncos will have figured out you can't double team Moss without leaving someone else who can catch open) and the new guys are coming along. (Green-ellis, C. Taylor...)

Pats over the Broncos.

It's gonna be close, but Brady will prevail this year.
(Plus it's going to snow on Sunday- so things should get interesting)

I agree with you completely. I have the same thoughts but I think that Singletary might be the guy to turn him into something, just look what he did with Vernon Davis. The guy was kicked off the field because of his attitude. Now he is having a breakout year.

Speaking of pass catchers, Jets made a good move in trading for Braylon Edwards. Legitimate deep threat for Sanchez. Hopefully he leaves his off field troubles behind him.

I am switching between the Minnesota, Carolina and Dallas game.

Minnesota D looks real good tonight. Carolina is getting stuffed again. I really wish they would pull off a win.

As for Dallas, nice missed FG. I hope they lose. Cowboys suck, I can't stand them.

What did I pick it to be? 31-7

6 minutes to go and it is 31-10...
