**Starts crying**

Common Jets!

The rookie QB is gonna have days like that. It's part of the process.

But the Jet D was outstanding! Only gave up 10 points to an O that was averaging 40 a game.

Gotta take the bad with the good. The Jets will be OK.

Hoping that the Pack can beat up on the Vikings this weekend. I wan't them to avenge the Niners last second loss last week...;)

No they wont. Yes they beat the Patriots hands down in week 2 but the Patriots are still the better team.

Tom "EFFING Brady... Need I say more? LOL

Who said the Jets were better than the Patriots? We know you've got an immortal player at the QB position, but I'll take the Jets D over the Patriot D any day of the week.

Yeah how about overrated....

Brady had one really really great year, but he is not the best QB in the league. Moss is 100% overrated. Sure he is a great receiver, but he has lost a big step. Just look at his stats this year. Took 4 games just get a TD...

Patriots are a great team, don't take me wrong. They are just not the team they used to be, they are beatable, and they are overrated.

+1

To me the Patriots are the Cowboys of the AFC...;)

I was so glad when they became the laughing stock of the NFL after loosing the Super Bowl after going undefeated.

and then Hoover hit that single!!

oh wait.

The Eagles didn't play. Oh well. COWBOYS LOST!! Hah hah!!
Denver looked good in that second half. Ol' Buckhalter injured but Bdawk was in there!

Back to my picks...

The Niners D is really hot right now! They are going to help this team get back to the playoffs. Under Singletary things are only going to keep getting better.

Viqueens are 4-0! Favre looked pretty dang good all game. And Jared Allen is a BEAST!!! Whomever started calling offensive plays in the second half must have lost some brain cells at half time. Vikes seem to go conservative in the second half when they have lead and it has almost bitten them in the backsides in the last two games.
Next up is the lowly Rams. This is a game the Vikes should win handily, but if thier past history comesinto lay in this weeks game the Rams will give them all they can handle.

I went through Adler's picks and made my own assesments

Baltimore Ravens 21-17 Cincinnati Bengals AGREED
New York Giants 30-14 Oakland Raiders YEP
Dallas Cowboys 21-10 Kansas City Chiefs Unfortunately
Carolina Panthers 17-14 Washington Redskins YEP
Minnesota Vikings 31-7 St. Louis Rams It won't be that close!!! Rams blow
Philadelphia Eagles 24-14 Tampa Bay Buccaneers YEP
Pittsburgh Steelers 28-10 Detroit Lions If the Steelers can learn to close a game
Buffalo Bills 17-14 Clevelend Browns YEP
San Francisco 49ers 28-14 Atlanta Falcons YEP
Arizona Cardinals 27-24 Houston Texans I think the Texans take this one
New England Patriots 27-13 Denver Broncos Uhhh I'll take the Broncos until Brady learns to throw again.
Jacksonville Jaguars 30-27 Seattle Seahawks YEP
Tennesee Titans 21-20 Indiannapolis Colts I don't think so. Titans are imploding
New York Jets 17-14 Miami Dolphins Jets are going to kill Miami

I'd agree with you on the Vikes that it shouldn't be that close, but past history has shown that the Vikes play down to thier opponent level if not worse in games they should handily win. Hope this is not the case against the Rams, but I will not be suprised if it's a close hard fought game.
