Yup sure is lucky, its a timber rattler you can tell by the white and black bands on its tail. I grew up in a small town and when i went riding wed see them all the time, most of the time the horses would let you know where they were but every once and awhile youd get a little closer than you wanna be:shock: Ill never forget one morn my mom was leaving for work and walked out the front door, laying across the front walk was a 6 1/2 foot diamond back sleeping she came in the house and told my dad about it so he goes out there with a 30/06 and shoots it. My mom was so mad at him it blew part of the walkway apart:lol:

Okay, since Njaco has graciously allowed me to post on his thread, I bring you...

HOLES

First up Kimberley Big Hole - South Africa. Apparently the largest ever hand-dug excavation in the world, this 1097 meter deep mine yielded over 3 tons of diamonds before being closed in 1914

Lucky13 knows what a glory hole is but for the rest of us laymen, a glory hole is used when a dam is at full capacity and water needs to be drained from the reservoir. Mirny Diamond Mine , Serbia

I'm pretty sure most people have seen this one. It's an absolute beast and holds the title of largest open diamond mines in the world. At 525 meters deep, with a top diameter of 1200 meters, there's even a no-fly zone above the hole due to a few helicopters having been sucked in.

Diavik Mine, Canada

The mine is so huge and the area so remote that it has its own airport with a runway large enough to accommodate a Boeing 737. It looks equally cool when the surrounding water is frozen.
