Joanne Ussary bought a used Boeing 727. She paid $2,000.00 for the plane. It cost $4,000.00 to move and $24,000.00 to renovate. (She has a LOT of wood and specialty windows for $24,000! I want her carpenter!) But not bad for a $30,000.00 investment... The stairs open with a garage door remote and one of the bathrooms is still intact. There is a personal Jacuzzi in the cockpit. The Boeing home is featured as part of a collection of creative conversions. It has a spectacular view! (I wonder how much the land with this view cost!) She "FLIES" first class!

Lucy THM is a new type of micro aircraft designed to provide unprecedented personal mobility. Key flight performance characteristics are: ultra short take off and landing (with a run of less than 15 meters and very steep climbing and approaching paths); rapid reach of high altitude; dragster-like acceleration; manoeuvrability and control at flight speeds near zero. These characteristics are made possible by combining a thrust greater than the weight of the aircraft with a compact and innovative aerodynamic architecture that fits in the airstream of a propeller with a very large diameter. The pilot, in fact, is seated inside an anthropomorphous fairing in a motorcycle-like posture and he wraps himself around the structure which is then perceived as a physical extension of himself: a "technological suit" worn to get yourself about in the air. The sensation is that of manoeuvring the controls to move yourself through the air and not, as usually happens, to move the plane.
