Very nice!

That battle changed forever the way ships of war would be built. Armor, steel, and steam have replaced wood and sails.

While the Monitor and the Merrimac fought to a draw that day, wood and sails were defeated.

Seldom in history is such a change centered on one day, one battle.

Isn't it amazing that those 2 ships were completed and met each other within a day?! Great looking models Conk and oft!
 
o.k to stop Wayne badgering me about my new camera :lol: here's some pics of my 1/72 models.
i finished these at the end of last year when i decided to start modelling again after encouragment from members of this forum.
ive posted pics of them all before but they weren't any good !

Excellent Rochie. I don't know what it is about 1/72nd, but I just can't get enough of it.

And ****, don't be so hard on yourself. Yellow is a #itch to paint. My suggestion is the thin it out to minimize your brush marks. Let each coat dry thoroughly before applying the next. Even with an airbrush yellow is a challenge.
 
Hello!

I'm new on this forum and I wanted to share with all of you some of my models...
There is a Ta152H (Dragon 1/72) and a F4U-1A (originally F4U-1D 1/72 tamiya).
There are not my favourite but my camera is broken so...
I made them when I was 16 /17 years old so show leniency...:|
