But, that would have meant that border security would have had to have made a conscious decision that "we want that in our country". Really, they should have known better.Surprised to see that is in Canada, I would think that was a product of too much beer and a rural area of the USA, but perhaps its just visiting from the south?
When I went to the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles to register my 250 GTE 2+2 in 1968, the clerk asked all the usual questions and finally "How many cylinders does it have?" "Twelve" I replied. She absolutely would not believe that ANY car had more than eight cylinders!My dad brought the first Toyota Hilux into Ireland when he moved here from New Zealand in 1999 (he loved that wagon!), and it took a while to register it, because they hadn't seen a ute here before, and didn't know how to categorize it.
How the hell did these guys manage it???!
