Unfortunately, you are not wrong. but some are more than obvious, and are likely to spur the political debates we don't want on this forum.

This is nothing new, the forum rules are known, and its getting awfully tiresome. It has not even been 48 hours since I had to say something the last time.

Part of the problem is we are all getting so used to that crap that we no longer recognize it as such and only see the humour or hypocrisy in it.

That's why professional comics have such a difficult time. The things we used to mock and make jokes of are now "hurting people's sensitivites" so we must conform.

I don't necessarily disagree. I laugh at most of the stuff posted here, but as a moderator it simply is not needed or wanted on the forum.

Or we can all simply understand what is and isn't allowed for the sake of not having a combative and argumentative forum, and that there are other places than a WW2 Aviation forum that better suited for that stuff?

Unfortunately political fanaticism has made that a reality. We no longer see each others as human beings who can disagree anymore, but "us" and "them."

This one applies only toTexas because they like to pretend they never get cold weather there so do not need to lubricate with wide temperature oils, just like they like to pretend they are the biggest state anywhere in the world (Alaska, Western Aus, South Aus, NT, Qld, NSW all are bigger and that is just for starters).
