Thanks for that Wayne. Perhaps I won't bother after all! The oil cooler I could handle, but the prop/spinner and canopy/ cockpit areas look obvious even in the sprue shots. Back to my old Matchbox and Hasegawa stash collecting I think !

Look at the previous page please. All Zvezda aircraft kits I mean the 1/72 and 1/48 scale models look very nice.For instance the 1/72 scale Il-2 Sturmovik looks really very nice and better than any of those old Il-2 kits.Except of these of Dako Plast sets.

take a look at the Zvezda Boeing 787-8. the kit is nice, but they half-assed the decals.
