Band of Brothers, absolutely fantastic, haven't started on The Pacific yet....

The Pacific is about 3 times as graphic as Band of Brothers is. drops F-bombs and shows a few pretty atrocious crimes against humanity. but it's still a good series

Hobby boss will release a new 1/48 Me262 A-1a in August.

Managed to score the following 1/48 kits:

CA B-P Defiant (the second issue that corrected the portly fuselage but lacked the PE instrument panel)
CA Finnish Buffalo
Hobbycraft P-26
Trumpy Hawker Sea Hawk

Total cost including priority postage - $90. Was pretty pleased with that haul.

Another parcel has turned up from Korea, in this case saved another $10 on the local price of the F-86...however the "Mig killer" version I have not been able to locate here.

Upon further inspection all kits are complete, decals in all of them are yellowed but I planned on buying extra decals anyway
