SWEET Harrison. What museum did you go to? I had the idea of doing all the different Thunderbird aircraft someday. I don't know if I'll ever do it but its a solid idea.

Wings of Freedom Aviation Museum in Willow Grove (technically Horsham PA), Pennsylvania. Its about an hour and five minutes from me so figure an hour and a half for you?

The best part is since they are on a Navy Base all utilities, rent, etc. are paid so the admission is free!

Never built a thunderbird before, must be hell to get the white just right.

I just use a plane jane white, nothing special. What has made painting white easier is to use a white primer as a base first.

Delayed by my vacation builds, but a little more progress on the F15

Red nose day

The white is just Tamiya fine white surface primer from a rattle can. If you put Klear/Future/Pledge on it, it makes a good white without having to put any other paint on it.

Fully assembled F-15 in Bicentennial Colours

The jet exhausts went on with no drama. The undercarriage is very weedy and fragile though. This one will need careful handling.

Not a tail sitter, as long as you put a few grams in the nose. The canopy fit could be better.

The Eagle looks good in this colour scheme It's a modification of the Thunderbirds' display team markings.

The Revell Hurricane IIc and the P51B have been primed....
