Metallica don't look they'll be there but it still looks a good show. If I can get to Jo'burg from Pretoria I would consider going - guess I'll just have to wait and see when I'm out there.

The Bands : My Coke Fest 2008 - MyCoke

None of those bands are real headliner except maybe Muse.

Chris Cornell is great but he has not been a headliner at a festival yet and I believe that is because they want bigger bands and not just singers to headline.

Korn has not been a Festival Headliner for years now since they started doing stupid **** with there band line up. Hell last year at Rock im Park they were not even Co-Headliner.

Basically this festival is a 2 or 3 day festival and they are missing Headliners. Metallica have said more Festival Dates are to follow shortly. I would not be surprised if they ended up in S. Africa either.

Next bands should be announced early Janary. Every month they will announce about 20 bands until they hit the 85 to 90 bands that will be there.

Oh and Judas Priest are officially out of the rumor list. They will be playing there only Germany Show at the Band Your Head Festival.

Oh well there are plenty of other great bands that will play and Metallica and Motorhead allready being confirmed will rock the whole damn place anyhow!

Yes it was just confirmed that Metallica and Rage Against the Machine will be playing at the Pinkpop festival as well.

Damn that festival is expensive. It costs the same as Rock im Park but only 30 to 40 bands play at the Pinkop where as 80 to 90 bands play at Rock im Park.
