HI guys,
JUst a bit of an update here, not been feeling too well with my back and i'm getting rather depressed with it, sometimes i'm wanting to end it !

Hi all,
Heres a few more pictures todate

Cut off the engine fairing and cut out the wheel covers.

Engine fairing glued together, these where a pain to align up squarely  and i think i'll have to put some plasticard around the inside of the fairings as they seem very weak.

Wheel covers neatly removed.... phew !

Spent another 3hrs cleaning up the metal parts again.

Tail planes glued together and nice and level.

Both Stablelizers also glued together ;)

thanks for looking

Looking good so far Ian. The main problem of Vacu models is their quite poor quality. So I'm not surprised you can abandon the project.

Hi Ian

Any progress with the Whitley? It would be great to see a 1/48th one.

Can you tell me where the picture of the naviugator came from - that's an unusual view.

Ian,
I have one of these well on the way - give me a message off-line if you'd like to compare notes and share detail ( photo and drawing ) info
