Scratch building and cleaning up the garage.

I hav'nt posted anything for ages but here's what I'm working on at present. Gives me an excuse to hang out in the garage and fart about with my welder.

Some updates, a piece of 2 inch exhaust pipe for the fuselage. 20 guage steel sheet for the stabilizers and rudder. Bits of welding rod for the braces.

The wings are 20 guage, I made the ribs by hammering a hatchet into the back side or under side.

This weekend, the cockpit. I have one of my kids Harry Potter action figures for a pilot. Then the upper wing, guns, landing gear and paint. Then I mount it on top of my green house unless my wife finds out what I'm up to in the garage and changes my plans !

Well thanks but brilliant would better describe your work, mine would be more along the lines of falling off a bar stool ! I used to build floats, If i never buck a rivet again....well you know.

Some updated pictures. Got the gardening deal out of the way yesterday so it was back to the Mig.
