A few months ago finished a Beaufighter with decoration in North Africa. The paints I used are the same that I am using for the Spitfire. After applying varnish, wash noticed that many of the desired effects, shading, had almost disappeared. This time I decided to slightly increase the contrast in the colors that I used for the lights and shadows. Hope I have not screwed up. Regards ajcmac
