Good idea Crimea River,
the flaps are next something I hate to do because mostly it ends up in desaster.

I did some pics of this engine decades ago when it hang in the "Technische Museum Sinsheim". It's one of the engines which were installed in FW Ds at Daimler in Stuttgart-Echterdingen in spring 1945. Not the best pics but they will do.

There is room for improvement.

I made some final changes and added primer.

provisional mounted to the fuselage. Think the gun troughs on the cowl ring will need further attention.

Thank you all,
I've got a metal prop it's from an old multimedia Dora from Hasegawa. It's nice but far to heavy because the plane is allredy overloaded with the numerous resin parts. The undercarriage will protest. I will spare this nice prop for a newtool Dora and make a new light prop out of spares.
Meanwhile some pics:

thanks for your encouragement.
I've started a leightweight prop made from the oldtool Dora. By the way I build another cowl as a backup and maybe a future FW 190 D-14/15 cowl.

Bad news. The old has weak inner details the new one has a thin lip.
