I gave the old cowl a new try after some tiny modifications and mounted it on the fus. Iwasn't amused! :evil:

Have a question. Why are my pics suddenly so small?

Well there is only one thing to do "do it once again". I dismantled both cowlings and started rebuilding them again. Here they are. They almost look like twins now? Well the loser will go to my FW 190D-14/15 project.

Doing the opened cooling flaps was another nightmare. Well there is nothing a good beer can't remedy.

Now the twelve flaps are on there place. Can't see buttermilk any more. Its can delivered the flaps and as I succeeded only after six trials I had to empty two of them. "Brrrrh"! much too healthy! :rolleyes:
