Aaron, you need to do some picture taking of the trains running in your neck of the woods. Must be quite pretty right now with the fall colors!

The colors lasted all of about 4 days Syscom. I really wanted to get back to the Natural Tunnel but by the time I get back there the trees will be bare. Those shots buy Nick Anshant were from this general area I believe and I think the shot of the pink engine is at the yard in Roanoke VA. but I may be mistaken. I'll see what the tunnel looks like Saturday afternoon but that's as soon as I will be able to get out there. Sorry.

Went a little south sunday , on the way back we caught this coal hauler heading back west

Not the best shots was going 100-110 kmh in the other direction

Still felt like I should share them

Syscom, the weather and leaves didn't cooperate. The rain and wind have all but cleaned the trees. I went yesterday after work to the Natural Tunnel and waited for about 4 hours until it got dark and never saw the first train. Just as I pulled in the driveway at the house it came through town. Go figure. Maybe next year. I still need to get out and get some more rail shots though. Sorry.
