Diesels, the 1st and 2nd sounds great, GM, Alco, Baldwin etc. may it be GP, SD's, Alco RS11's, 630's or Trainmasters, you can NOT beat the sound of a steam engine, or several hard at work.....

Not to mention that lone single steamwhistle in the middle of nowhere....

That's very sharp Cota!! Back around Feb. I went up to Roanoke Va. to the Transportation Museum and took a bunch of shots some of which I posted either earlier in this thread or in my photo thread (Brooks' Photos). You might enjoy those. At the time my photos skills were not what they are now but the material is ok.
