Well thats nice GG saying she not as nice as a tower block:) you're totally right tho not my thing being in a studio
have a look at these and see if you prefer them.
I went to the War Peace show in Kent and if there is a bigger militaria show anywhere I would be surprised they claim it is the biggest in the world and I reckon it may well be I counted 80 jeeps alone and piles of Zundap and BMW chair outfits
but the vehicles are only a part of the show.
Fields of stalls selling everything from Sherman spares to genuine WW1 prussian helmets and flying goggles, weapons, shells, whole tanks, every sort of uniform you can think of and amoungst them some claimed to be the real deal and the price reflected it
I just had a rough count up in the program and it comes to over 300 trade stands selling militaria and as for military vehicles I walked up and down the four ranks of parked up machines it took me an hour, so thats alot of kit.
Any way enough waffle as this is my pic thread I'll start with a few snaps of the characters I bumped into and a tank to end this posting I wonder if you can name some of them and the tank is a real toughy:rolleyes:

Well there's Monty, Patton, Not Sure, McArthur, and Churchill.

The don't think it's a M-60 due to the "wheel" layout. It almost looks like a Type 59 Chinese tank.

well done guys, Ok this first one is an original and the only running variant in the world what is it's designation Initials and use.
Ive put on a montage of jeeps, as in the program it lists 3000 ex military vehicles in total at the show. Hell there was over 400 motorcycles alone,so Id be posting for the next year to get them individually on here, the other shots speak for themselves

I had a tidy up of my old pic folders and came across a couple I dont believe I have posted the panorama was an early attempt at stiching with Pshop, after I tried several times to get it right I left it as is with a. the bow fails to line up with the side and b. there seems to be twins in the picture both having the same drink.
The other shot is just a bored dog I snapped in Italy.

Thanks Gary and Gn for the comments.
I have seen a few guys discussing taking pictures of the moon so I popped out about an hour ago as it was a clear night and took a couple of shots the first was ISO150 f10 at 125th using a 500mm sigma on a tripod and self timer I took it in black and white mode but then used the green/blue hue adjustment to increase the contrast the second shot same lens same ISO but f8 at 160th and no colour enhancement both have been cropped by around 75% from the original image. so even with a fair size lens it comes out rather tiny in the view finder
