Well, as already mentioned in another thread, I've picked DML's 1/48 Ju 88C-6 Zerstörer.....8)
What I'd like to know is which ZG's flew them and if possible, where?
You are welcome buddy.According to my info C-6 version was used by KG3,KG30,KG51,KG53,KG55,KG76,KG77,ZG26.By September of 1942 the kind of Ju88 was begun using by V/KG40
Hate that...! Anyhoo.... I want to do a KG55 "Greiff" crate (one of my favorite KG's), but I'd also like do to a C-6 Zerstörer from the Mediterranean. Did any of these operate there, from let's Greece?
Cheers Chris! Question is though, would they have been based at the same base as their 111H's, 3.2.43 - 23.2.43 Stalino, 23.2.43 - 4.4.43 Kirovograd, 5.4.43 and 5.5.43 Samorsk (Crimea)?
are you wanting to do a train busting Ju ? I've got more pl;us pics/ the nose is solid of course with the 4 2cm cannon but there are also more cannon installed.
interesting too that we never here about these crews flying all over Russian space and hunting down Soviet trains.
hopeful these will come up including an article on a famous pilot(s) flying the Ju on Train killer ops. am going to have to do this in a couple of posts, my databank is still Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz .......... like me
KG 3 killer, note the winged wheel emblem, think and I have to check the bird has 6 forward 2cm's. I can only imagine the effect this must have had on poor Soviet transportation .....
