Thanks for popping by folks, judging by the tally, there have been a lot of folks a'lookin.

After a quick flight across the Atlantic, and here we are in Frankfurt and I've found my best mate.

We only had a couple of nights stopover and this was the first evening just getting the lie of the land.

Low and behold, more padlocks!

and seagulls, though these days there referred to as landgulls.

That's it from me folks for this year, I'll be back in the New Year, but in the meantime here's wishing you all a fantastic holiday over our festive season and I wish each and every one of you good fortune and happiness in 2015.

Vic, you and the missus travel so much, do you actually remember what the inside of your house looks like?

As always, thanks for dragging us along with you on your adventures!!

And a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours!

Thanks again for looking in folks. It's been a while, festive season and all that, so a happy new year to you all and on with the show.

We had a whole day to kill while in Germany and had always wanted to see something of what they refer to as the "Romantische Straße" so having booked us a day trip, next morning saw us bright and early heading south.

This was a castle or some such we passed on the way to Bad Margentheim.

A short rest stop was here at Weikersheim Castle where I had to cheat a bit as they prohibited the use of cameras inside the building.

Thanks again for looking in folks, sorry for the bit of a gap in keeping this up, it's been kind of hard yakka here of late, but were on a long weekend it being Australia Day tomorrow, so I've a bit of slack time.

Continuing with the fantastic holiday of September 2013 were now in the cute and old German town of Rothenburg. Hope you enjoy as much as we did.
