Need a wood burning stove installed. Need my office/military collection war room framed, dry-walled, electrical work, and doors installed (I'll install the flooring and paint the walls).
Not looking forward to the price. If I don't like the quote, I'll do the framing and drywall myself.
At the VA I pay a reasonable co-pay. Of course the real payment for the VA services are paid up front.Amen to that in probably every country. We have government cover plus private cover to cover the gaps that the government allows them to cover and yet we still pay far too often.
Some by choice (we go to a doctor that charges a little over double the "schedule" fee because he is good and a 10:00 appointment means you are talking to him by 10:01, unless there is an emergency (once in five years). At bulk bill practices a 10:00 appointment can mean you see the doctor at midday or later.

Should have just had the CT scan a cut out the middle man!!!
