She doesn't want to always have the kids.
Recently read an article by a woman who said, "I thought I had Won my divorce by getting custody of the kids and then I gradually realized that meant I would have to take care of them 80% of the time. Then I realized the way the courts handle child custody is SEXIST." She moved to get with more of a 50-50 split.

They try to get custody of the kids, 100% if possible, and then declare that is SEXIST against them. Probably at least 90% of the time in divorces the woman is not capable of acting rationally.

I was walking the dogs this morning and 4 magpies decided to swoop us. According to the latest bull **** report from the "experts" this only happens in the cities and is caused by high density housing. I live in the country where the typical block is 4 or 10 hectares (10-25 acres).

Seconds after the swooping started there were only 3 birds and they were suddenly concentrating on our mastiff who had one in her mouth. She nearly got a second. I was surprised to see our very sedentary dog vertically airborne more than her body length off the ground. For a 60kg dog that takes a LOT of power. I am pleased she reduced the hazard but would have been much happier if she had not needed to.

This is the second wildlife attack in three days. We have two types of venomous snakes - the red belly black which is nearly always seen departing the scene and the Eastern brown which is very aggressive at certain times and seldom retreats. For some reason a brown took a dislike to the O Deere ride on while I was mowing and attacked it. The result was snake 0 and O Deere 1000 fragments. That meant tying up the dogs to stop them eating the head and poison and waiting for the kookaburras to remove the remains.

I went to the Walmart this morning but for a while I thought I might be in a casino in Las Vegas.

I used one of the automated checkouts and decided to use cash rather than my Visa card. The total came to something like $6.53. I put 3 cents in first but the machine responded by pumping out something like 53 cents. I kept at it, putting in a $5 and a $1 and then adding coins to try to meet the required total. The machine would reject some of the coins and give me more back. It was rather like playing a slot machine and if you won you got to keep your groceries. Finally I managed to satisfy it, by which time I had no idea how much I had paid but I was pretty sure that it was less than it should have been. I told one of the Walmart people that the thing was acting weird but that I was entirely satisfied with the results.

So you suppose that all such machines are hooked together and if they recognize you they give back the money they shorted you on in previous encounters?
