Back just before Christmas I had a medical appointment and afterwards I decided to stop by and say Hi to a financial advisor I have been friends with for over 20 years. He said that in September 2024 his wife suddenly told him that she had been seeing multiple people on the side and wanted out of their marriage ASAP. he asked her what she wanted in order to leave and 23 days later was divorced. The good news was that she said she wanted nothing to do with their pre-teen son and he has a good support network for the boy from friends and neighbors. He said he had run into his ex-wife at the grocery store recently and that she was simply not all there any more.
You have to wonder if their is a brain virus or something going around.

She is chronic story teller. She has continued the bad habit of calling me to b**** when she gets mad at her mom or with her man whore. It's quite irritating. When she does this, I listen and don't say one word. It makes her mad as h***. My kids know she is full of it. She thinks I tell them bad stuff about her all of the time and tell them to hate her. She couldn't be more wrong. I just told my kids to watch, listen and draw their own conclusions. My kids are pretty smart and can see the sun where it suns and how you need to look down so you don't step in it. It has been very stressful. For me and my kids.

Kinda glad I never got married after reading this stuff.

I agree I have been married now for 28 years, and cohabited with her for 4 years before that. We get along great.
That being said if I had actually married either of the 2 women I was engaged to before my wife, I would have been divorced that many times.
Yeah, agreed. Not everyone is right for each other, and people can change.
The key is good communication. All marriages (and any relationship really) have their ups and downs.

I've heard British folks pronounce Blenheim as "blenim", but the German pronunciation is a bit different.

Yep, it's "Blenim", the vagaries of proper English, another example being the town of Alnwick, pronounced "Annick", even though it stands on the banks of the river Aln, and the small port at the mouth of this river is called, and pronounced Alnmouth !!
