hey fellas. I decided to start on another one.....the Connie :D this is just about 2 days worth of work. I balanced it out and set that stuff on top to set the dihedral.

Handley Page Halifax as a coastal command aircraft[with this model i thought i'd practice detailing and might post it if anyone's interested]
there are others on the back burner still ongoing but these have been put away for a while as i still have loads to finish on the house

Cowlings installed. a little later, possibly tonight after work; I'll be stuffing some strips of cotton balls in there to protect the engines inside from the paint.

Btw, Rob - do you have any spare markings at all? Got some prebuilt airliners in 1:100, would like to try and restore them.

depends on what they are, man. but I know a place where you can get all the airliner markings you want. www.airline-hobby.com

just type in the search box "1/100" there's quite a few in there

Bought three 1:100 VEB Plasticart airliners off a mate last year (already made, stashed in his attic): a Dassault Mercure (Air Inter), Douglas DC-8 (KLM), and Tupolev Tu-154 (Aeroflot).
 
Ok, these are the VEB Plasticart kits I got from my mate Zoli. Attic jobs, made about 20 years ago, but hope to see these restored...anyone like a challenge?
