Thank Gawd there is only one antennae on this one. There is no locating hole for it and I punctured myself trying to drill a hole in the base so I could add some wire. I also have to remove some paint from inside the wheel well as the inner gear doors don't have locating holes as the Revell kit does, just a flat gluing surface. A quick test fit of the canopy and the canopy slidey thingy show that they will not touch so I will glue them individually to the aircraft. Also, another first for me, is to drill a small hole in the wing tip position lights and add paint to simulate the light bulbs.

Some updates on the Piper Cherokee. Flap handle between the seats, parking brake on the pedestal. eliminated the dark grown on the tip half of the interior. looks much more realistic, and brightens up the interior (it's dry fitted)

and I just learned that a company in Japan, Marui, developed a 1/36 scale version of the PA28-140 with an electric motor. VERY rare kit

I can never tale what is on the work bench. I have kit started 20+ years ago still undone.

Good addition to the projects that I have alternating open to not be engaged in a single project, I started this:



is to see if one day I finish and that means well take it to a show in my town, to celebrate the opening of the airfield "pla de cabra" which was one of the airfields that I am part of the outer ring of protection from barcelona to the aerial sorties by planes from mallorca.

for now this is what I've been doing something else there but little more:
