Looks great so far. Of course the fact that it's my favorite subject matter doesn't hurt either.:)

Finished work on my model. Attempted to put decals on and they disintegrated or tore apart. 🤬 I am proud of the effort however.

Now that has seen some heavy service! A very fine job distressing the aircraft!

I would've liked some filler along the leading edge of the wings. But boy, I like the paint & weathering effects you used.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of your projects!

If I'd have been a bit more on the ball I could've entered this into the MTO group build..........The instructions simply state JG 26 for white 12, which I'm doing, as it turns out after a google search this is the mount of Joachim Müncheberg, the leader of 7./JG26 at Gela Airfield in Sicily during the spring of 1941, and there are a few pics of the unit with some of this plane on Asisbiz. Anyway here is where it's at at the moment, combination of Gunze 70/02 and AK real colors RLM 65 pre '41

Of course I dropped it and busted off the Antenna mast on the tail which broke into 2 pieces of all things........at least I managed to find them both so a bit of touch up there as well

More like whats not,

Link
Can I ever get them built
LOL, and I thought I was bad with the three unstarted models that have been sitting on my shelf for the last year. Your backlog is AWESOME! I have the SMER Clostermann Tempest V kit top of the pile, another SMER kit of a Curtis Hawk 75A3 in French desert markings, and an Airfix Vickers Light tank Mk VIb. What's even funnier is I bought the two SMER kits off a guy who had them on his bench for three years and didn't get round to building them!
