Somewhere, I have a list of which airframes were Mk.VIII (retractable tail wheel), and which were Mk.V (fixed tail wheel), but I can't locate it at the moment.

Prepping the clear parts for the spritzing. Used my circle cutter on the windscreen, a wee bit of trimming on the right

A quite nice idea .. but wouldn't be it easier to stick a piece of the tape there and use a pencil to get the mask shape and then cut it out with the scissors?

Nope. Took all of 10 seconds to get a nice neat cut

That's true but now you have to spent more of the time to mask the rest of the front glass while you could have one solid piece.

Me to but never thought of the circle while I did use it for masking on the bottom of the F-84.

Before I did that I checked the fit of the windscreen. I read Andy's build and he mentioned a slight issue getting the fit right. I tried mine and it looked a lot worse. A closer look reveals that I needed to remove a bunch of plastic. These were in the same shape that prevented a good fit with the wing/fuselage. A bit of sanding and now the fit is very good
