Thanks for the link Andy, A big help. Good to know I wasn't the only one who glued the IP section together before painting. Also noted that you never had an issue with the wing tips. Photo up shortly

OK, forgot the before pic. What I did was file a bunch of plastic off the top of the plastic lug (arrow) and managed to remove almost all of the step, top and bottom. Plastic card will be needed to fill the gap between the aileron and the tip

Thanks Evan. I'm sure some of the small issues are self inflicted but I do like kits that require a bit of work to get the right look. Makes one appreciate Eduard, Tamiya etc. all that much more. Anyhoo....gap filled and sanded
