The wife took this Grizzly shot beside the highway
There used to be a huge Eagle's nest in this tree but the weight caused the branch to break off. They now use it a
s a perch to look for fish in Crooked River below
Another Grizzly shot from very far range. I wish the wife had taken a wider shot as there was something very strange to the left side. A Black Bear was also foraging, not 50ft from the Grizzly. As far as I know, the species are not on the best of terms. To reinforce the oddiness of this, about 1-2 kilometres South of this, in another field, was another Grizzly with yet another Black Bear in close proximity. Very odd
