Just checking because there's no end to the idiots who get out of their cars to get a picture of a bear or try to feed it. If they get hurt, the bear gets shot. The reverse should be true.

Well I did say in my post "engine on, foot on the brake, ready to drive away...".

It's not my first time around wild animals, and my wife is a biologist, so I am not one of said idiots.

My friend and I were coming back from Jasper on our bikes when we stopped to watch a black bear and her cubs feeding on the side of the road, it was amazing at the stupidity of tourist who were walking up to them to take pictures some within 40/45 feet.....

New to the yard, a three legged pooch. We have other disabled wildlife as well. A Magpie with it's left foot bent back under it's leg and a Crow with a right leg it can't use. They all get around quite well.

This is a typical Lacey and 'Blue' stand-off. It features mock attacks and half-hearted chases. They're fun to watch.

Our white tailed sea eagle was there again. Sorry for the quality, distance is about 1000 yards and a 300mm and 10.2MP just doesn't cut it at that size..
