Nice one David. Thought for a minute about doing a CF-18 myself but I've got too much on the go right now.

Looking forward to seeing this one progress. Should be an attractive model when done.

    Thought about this one -

But decided to keep the 3 Sqn theme going. Haven't built a 1/48 jet in years. Crossing my fingers.

    Cheers,
    David.

Love the F/A-18. I have never made a HobbyBoss kit so I'll be watching this one.

Don't let a certain someone see that number 13 (he whispers) on the front gear door.
I sure do like that 3 sqn marking on the tail.

Good stuff David, I've built this kit before for a Death Rattlers aircraft. Basically a Hasegawa copy, minus a few differences. The nose is tricky to get a clean fit but otherwise I didn't have any issues. Mind the canopy if you intend to close it, on my Hasegawa one the seat was too tall!

    Thanks for the comments everyone.

Have started gluing a few bits and pieces and indeed the nose looks like trouble.

Will post pics when a bit more is done.

    David.
