As ordered, a shot of how the pre-shading worked out. I really like this effect, it adds "depth" without messy washes. (I hate a mess....Ahem,....)

Thanks for the info Paul I like to pre-shade myself and was thinking the same avenue by hand but had never seen one done as such Now on a 1/72 might be the trick

Thanks all, for the nice comments. Like the dumb@ss that I am, I lost my sims card....It was in the camera. So here are the shots up to date. I have done some "salt" fading on the floats.
