Probably in L.A.
Now, on to "Pete" things.
Our good friend, Shinpachi answered a question that I had about the Japanese IFF yellow panels, pertaining to when they were first used.
I now feel that I can represent this "Pete" as being in the Solomon Islands in August/ early September 1942 with no panels, or October and forward with the panels.
We will see which option I go with.

Thanks, guys!
I did a bit of "pre-shading" today. I have found that dragging a brush works as well as using the airbrush, without the added cleaning time.
If the gods of modeling permit, I will put the bottom color on in the morning. I would do it tonight, but SWMBO, doesn't like the smell of enamels.
That's right, model fans, I will be doing the main colors in enamels!
Stay tuned for an update tomorrow!

Good.............. looks like it has some odd form of cancer, if it was prostate, the lines would be big ass bruise purple!!!!!

Good to see you on Charles, hope the nurses are looking after you!

Starting to look the part Paul, yes the Yellow IFF markings were first introduced in October 42 and seen on the IJN aircraft at the battle of Santa Cruz.
Both Red and Yellow were trialled before yellow was adopted.
