There used to be a resin bomb bay conversion kit, but can't remember who made it. A look at Hannant's web site might show something, and maybe you can get one nearer to home.

Hannant's is actually usually pretty quick and reasonable, I've ordered a number of things from there. My issue is time; I don't have it before winter. I may have to forgo it and have the bay open so it's less noticeable.

Cory, just read on the Bomber Command Museum website that the Martin turrets and 4000lb bomb bay doors were installed from s/n KB855 onwards.

...meaning you still need the bulged 8000lb doors but your FN turret should be the right one if the site is correct.

Whoops, got them mixed up. Well, I don't feel like spending another $30, so I'll do some hunting, but it's doubtful that I'll do it.

Good info Andy, and ties in with what I've been able to find so far.
Leaving the bay doors open will work well Cory - the 'bulge', and the 'step' at the rear were only really noticeable when the doors were closed. If you decide to fit bulged doors, I think Mike Belcher (Belcher Bits), based in Canada, makes a resin set. I should have his e-mail address if you wan it?
