Working on the base. Using EnviroTex and food coloring in progressive pours.

pic 1 - The material is very easy to use, just measure them 1 for 1, add a few drops of food coloring and pour. The stuff levels itself. After a few minutes, pop the bubbles by exhaling on the surface.
pic 2 - Found a neat little logo for the 100th Anniversary. Made a decal of it and added to base
pic 3 - a little too purple, but should be okay, this one will be quite 'deep'
pic 4 - coat 2
pic 5 - float added

'chop' to be added later.

My granddaughter doesn't like it. She says it's a monster mouth !!!

I'm not real pleased with this. Too blue. May have to start over.

Using 3 parts de-canted Dullcoat Spray to 1 part enamel paint to get that almost transparent look.

pic 1 - first coat of paint was too brown
pic 2 - into the 'strip tank' they go
pic 3 - after 3 hrs and a toothbrush
pic 4 - very pleased with the results

Great stuff. What liquid do you use for the paint stripping?

Scalecoat II Wash Away. A little pricey, but it's the only thing I've found that strips the paint ONLY. Other products will eat away the putty. There's no putty on this one but my bottle is over a year old and been used many times, just needs to be filtered once in a while.

The flat surfaces have already been in a few pics. Here's how I did them.

pic 1 - sheet of .030 clear PETG held by my able assisitant my granddaughter Arianna.
pic 2 - plans taped up
pic 3 - ribs and edges added with fine and ultrafine brown Sharpie
