Lancs boring? That's like saying beer is bad for you!!
I think that even in 1/72nd scale, the Lanc shows it's immense size and power. Even now, after seeing the real thing many,many times, and having been in three and flown in one, I'm still impressed by their sheer size and prescence - big for the time, and still, even by today's standards of huge aircraft.
