The temperature was around 10C (52F) in February.
The steaming pot is an incense pot. There is ash made from straw in the pot and incense sticks are stuck on it.

As today was holiday and the sky was beautiful, I walked around the central area of Osaka City started from Osaka Castle Park for 4 hours.
Town was so clean and beautiful as even a ruined house looked an art.
The lion's statue is a guard of the city. The man's is Mr Tomoatsu Godai(1836-1885) - founder of Osaka Stock Exchange.
One of the biggest summer festivals will be held in this area on next Sunday.
Hope the weather will be fine like last year.
