All I saw was the 13. I know several Experten used 13, Bar being one. I can't get to my resources at the moment. Maybe it'll come to me.

Njaco, if you are referring to the Red 13 then you are correct it is indeed the mount of Major Heinz Bar. The aircraft is an Fw190A-7, Werk Nr.431007.
The aircraft shows a score of 200 victories within a wreath on the rudder.
Number 200 was scored on the 22nd April 1944, a B-24 Liberator, using Fw190A-7 'Red 23' thus making him the 7th pilot to reach this total.
If you like I can scan and post some images of Bar's A-7.

Thanks, Wayne. I'm just trying to remember who flew "Black 13" for JG 2. I know Marseilles had "Yellow 13" for Jg 27 and I should have known Bar and his "Red 13". I can't get my sources - all packed away - but maybe Priller before JG 26?

Doug, I saw that and thanks Wurger. But whose mount was that? I just checked the few books that aren't packed and Priller had a similar camo with an A-5 with "Black 13" with JG 26 but found no JG 2. Still looking.

Njaco, at the moment I cannot identify the pilot of Black 13? I have found one good photo of this aircraft from 8/JG2. The pilot may not be anyone of significance.... most pilots displayed victory markings at this stage of the war, mid 42 to early 43, Black 13 has no victory markings visible to provide a clue to the pilots identity. Maybe someone else can help?

Hi guys !
I've found these only.One - a profile and two - a pic of a model.Source unknown.I've also found out that the Fw 1990A3 "Black 13" W.Nr.2181 was serving in 9./JG 2 Richthofen Cherbourg, France, 1942.

Sorry but I need to correct you Wurger... Black 13 is from 8/JG 2, 9/JG2 carried Yellow numbers, while the remaining staffel of III Gruppen, 7/JG 2 had white numbers.

Now on to some more Medium scale modified aircraft.

Ah, you are right. Wayne. It was my fault.Sometimes, I don't hit a proper key, they are a bit small for my fingers in my computer keyboard.Being convinced everything was O.K. I didn't correct it.Sorry again mate.
