I discovered, the muzzles in the Matchbox E-wing are for the MGFF canons. The MG 17 of the D-version are located one rip nearer to the wheel well.

There is a little progress again.
The tailplane is in place as are the exhaust stubs for the Jumo and the prop is dry fitted. The undercarriage is ready for installing. I love those old Matchbox wheels.

four hinges were added to connect wings and flaps.

An often vorgotten item are the control cables for the side rudder which are visible on early Bf 109s up to the F-version. I tried to fix this.
