All fixed, early framed canopy with solid headrest armor. I think I remember
reading that Galland use to hate the solid armor headrest as he bumped his
head often on it. The fit is a bit "wonky" I read a review and someone said the
wind screen was shorter than the fuselage where it sits, it is so I split the difference.
Personally I prefer the looks of the Erla Haub canopy.---John

I assembled the spinner and prop blades. The spinner is matt
black and the prop blades are black-green. I still have to add
the spiral. It's just temporarily set on the prop shaft.---John

How good with that canopy. It will be an interesting process and the scheme you had chose will also be very attractive to the eye.
We will see how our projects unfold. I like camouflages that are rare.
Good job John.

Thanks, I need to order my paint. No airbrush so I use Tamiya rattle can spray.
Works for me. I like this subject so I am considering buying another 1/48 Bf-109
next year. I want to do Adolf Gallands' Bf 109 F-2. Is the Revell, ICM mold, or Eduards
the better kit?---John

My experience with several brands is still very short.
Speaking of the same plane that we are currently arming, I can only tell you that Eduard's kit, as a whole, very complete (detail in the plastic, PE, number of pieces for other versions, decals, etc.) are very good quality. I'm really happy with the brand, and I have a couple more models in the closet.
(But my arsenal in the closet does not yet reach 15 kits.)

Tan done, now to leave it masked and mask over it with clay or squiggle masks of paper for the green.
This ought to be fun to figure out.---John
