No need to apologize for the quality of the shots; if you recall, it wasn't all that long ago, that I was catching wildlife shots from my shop when my camera was set up for taking photos of fire trucks and police cars!

Great shots Aaron, I've been trying to get a shot of a woodpecker in my back yard, every time I get a focus he jumps in back of the tree. Someday I'll get him.

Thank you sir. I know your frustration Merv, trust me. This one is actually smaller than the resident bird, and it took absolutely no notice of us. Really odd. But great photo opportunity. At full size they are some what fuzzy. But the fact that it never quite moving and I had my f-stop dropped down so low to get some light in the shade. I could not turn the shutter speed up enough without defeating the the open f-stop. Kinda frustrating.

Nice shots of the woodpecker Brooks. We have quite a few dead ash trees in Michigan so there's a lot of woodpeckers around. I should try to get a shot of some.

Some shots from last weekend in Sevierville,Tn. This use to be known as the Grand Run but now,.......................it's mostly junk. We were down there for about an hour when the bottom fell out. It rained two and half hours and pretty much killed the show for the day. Hence the lack of photos. Anyway, here's what I got.

It did. For two and a half hours. Kinda ruined the day. But I had fun while I was down there.

Great shots and the skies really did look ominous in the photos.

You know, I hate to say this, but I am not a big fan of the "Rat Rod" genre...I can see taking a rust bucket and getting it road ready, but I have seen some very classic rides all chopped up and "ratted out", ruining an otherwise sweet ride.

Perhaps I'm old school, but there's nothing like a clean body, sweet paint job and polished goodies to make a ride stand out.
