Was wondering if any one in the Michigan area was going to the Detroit Auto Show. I will be there Friday afternoon sometime till at least Saturday night if not Sunday. Not sure yet when we are leaving the show. The car we are showing will be at the end of the last row in front of the Chrysler display, a white on white 1969 Hemi Super Bee with a black tail band. Just let me know.

I bet he would to. If he hadn't purchased a medium sized library he could afford to come over and see it. But at least he has his priorities in order. I was hoping some of the guys from that area would chime in. We still have better than a week though. Wayne, I'll take a bib and a towel. Terry, from what I understand, bacon's big up there.:thumbright:

Leaving tomorrow for Detroit, be back late Sunday night. If any of you all decide to show up, the car we built will be the end cap of one of the rows directly across the isle from the Chrysler main display.

What a weekend. Left Thursday at 1:00 PM and got to Detroit at 11:00 PM. That is the biggest show I have ever seen. I will do my best to get some photos up tomorrow sometime. I awoke this morning with a cold and it's hammering on me a bit. We got back last night at midnight and I went work today so I'm dragging three trails. I didn't take my camera, I borrowed a small point and shoot Canon. We'll see what they look like tomorrow.

Thanks Wayne. Jan, just give me a little warning so I can get the neighborhood ready.
At any rate, let's get the photos going. I used a Canon Power Shot SX120 IS with 10x lens and a 10 mega pixel sensor. If you have questions, I will do my best to answer to them, but there were cars here that were one offs and some I had not ever seen and didn't get the to read the plaquard, so, please, bare with me. And I will post more as time allows.

Very cool Aaron. Even though it's in the classic category, odd to see a four door wagon, however, I still like it.

Geo

Thank you George, it is a 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle wagon.

Good photos Aaron. Haven't a clue about the cars, but some good shots.

Thank you Terry, lets see if I can get them named.
1.) 1953 Chevrolet five window pickup
2.) 1968 Dodge Charger R/T
3.) 1969 Chevrolet Camaro,(modified)
4.) 1969 Plymouth GTX
5.) 1963-1967 Chevrolet Corvette (not a 63 though cuz it wasn't a split window)
6.) 1929 Ford Model A
7.) All I know is it was hand made. A one of one.
8.) 1969 Chevrolet Camaro drag car
9.) 1969 Plymouth Road Runner
10.) 1963 Mercury Marauder 427
11.) 1959 Cadillac 4 door
12.) 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Wagon
13.) 1964 Pontiac GTO
14.) 1967 Pontiac GTO
15.) 1939 Ford Convertible Custom
