Before you get too far, see if you can pop off the "convertable" part and pinch the body with a clothes pin, (I carve them to fit the shape of the fuselage) then re-glue the rear part back on, to get a better fit. I tried Terry's (Airframes) white glue method for the seams and, whatta ya know, it works! It is a good way to fill the front seams. The color is bang on, in my book.
She's looking good over-all, and there is plenty of time in this build.

cheers mate, i'm thinking the canopy will hide the gaps on the pilots head rest / armor, as i've made a mistake in lining up the cockpit parts so the fuselage is a little wider than expected.

and i do like the colours, i think Vallejo got them spot on and they go on very well with a brush !

many, many thanks Cory / Bill but i can live with them, they dont look quite as bad in real life and wont really be seen once on a shelf, but thanks anyway.
