Andy, I do have a little punch plate. But for this strap I had to drill by hand. Had all fingers crossed, cept the ones I was usin.

Thanks Glenn. I'm using some large scale builds for examples. The straps were used on a 1/24th scale plane. I wasn't sure if I could pull it off. But it did work. Happy as a clam.

Sometimes I have to agree with my wife............. why???? she asks. Cuz I can, I replies.

I'm waiting on brass barrels so I can get the wings together.

This ISP connection is driving me nuts...... is why I am getting double posts.
Have you considered senility? I have. I figured I would get it out of the way early, and then try just plain crazy.
Straps look smashing, old carrot!
(See, I'm on vegtables now!)

Looking good, Bill. What double posts ??

Charles

I edited and removed the text from the double.
I live about 100 meters from the water in Botany Bay, no view, and at the end of Tom Uglies bridge. The tower is inline with the bloody bridge and my reception is crap, so I have fits with this forum loading and uploading to it.

It's not hard to see I like doing scratch building.

I put the wheels together today, painting now.
Put the knuckle thingies on the landing gear and they are ready for paint as well.

No barrels today.
No pics, tomorrow maybe.

Bill what's with the name of the bridge, who was this Tom Uglies fella? Just had a gander on google maps are you any where near Paul's famous Hamburgers? By the way some fantastic scratch building.

Thanks Wayne......

Vaugn, I'm in the units across the street from Paul's...... went there once, and have no idea why anyone ever goes back.
They think it's an aboriginal bastardization of Tom Huxley, no real idea.

And thanks.

That was a good guess then I just picked that place at random thought it was the right distance from the bridge. Is that where you work?

Nope live.
Work part time in Merrickville, about 20/30 minutes up the Prince's Hwy in a sign shop running a CNC router table.

This morning finished painting the wheels, and gear legs.
