I decided that I will replace the cannon with brass tube. The Tamiya plastic looks a bit weak, and replacing them will give a much better effect.

I used 1.0mm tube and they were cut to precisely 17mm in length.

The operation is pretty straight forward to do and here's the pictures. 8)
